Minority
最近結構グリーン・デイの曲が好きだったりする。
と言ってもラジオでシングルを聞いて、
この曲好きかも〜、なんて思う程度なんだけど。
ちょっと前（多分前のアルバム？）の曲に
"Minority"という曲がある。
この曲がとても好き。
私はかなり歌詞重視派で、この曲も歌詞が結構気に入っている。
曲調は明るいロック、って感じ。
サビの部分がキチンと韻を踏んでるところも結構好き。
Minority＝少数派。
（反対語：Majority＝大多数）
オレは少数派になりたい
権力を振りかざすやつなんかと関わりたくないし
と訳しながらふと疑問。
down with the moral majority
"down with"って賛成する、とかそういう意味やんね？
じゃあこの部分は、
大多数のモラルには同意できる、っていうような意味になるよな〜？
じゃあ'cause i want to be the minorityが流れ的に合わへんくない？
だからオレは少数派になりたい、
って何やから？
大多数のモラルに賛成なら、どうやって少数派に…？
う〜ん。
英語力の足りなさをひしひしと感じる。
ので少し調べてみた。
Infoseekのマルチ辞書には
Down with …！ …はいらないと書いてある。
が、Online Slang Dictionaryには
down adj 1. in agreement with a plan to do something. Also down with...と書いてある。
全然意味逆ちゃうか、これ？
でも多分この場合は最初の使い方になるんやろうな。
やり直し：
オレは少数派になりたい
権力を振りかざすやつなんかと関わりたくないし
過半数のモラルになんか賛同したくない
だからオレは少数派でありたいんだ
みたいな感じなんでしょうか？
いや〜、英語も深いっす。
ちなみにdictionary.comにはこうありました。
