time is running out
Museというバンドのアルバム「Absolution」に入っているこの「time is running out」という曲が最近のお気に入りです。
ちなみにMuseはデビュー当時からRadioheadとの類似性を指摘されてたそうです。
確かに影響は随所にみれる。
でもQueenなんかの影響もこの３枚目のアルバムには強く感じる。
３枚目に限って言えばRadioheadよりはロック色が強い。
歌詞も私好みで、このアルバムには旦那が買ってきた去年以来ずっとはまりっぱなしです。
１枚目、２枚目は実はまだ聞いたことがない。
旦那が持ってたのコピーさしてもらっとけばよかったよーん（涙）。

Asphyxiated
suffocateと類義語ですが、
Asphyxiatedは窒息する過程で
suffocateは窒息死になります。
どちらの単語も息が詰まりそうな状況を表現するにも使えます。
３行目に出てくるspellは英語の綴りのspellではなく、
bad spellとかのspell。
日本語にすると呪文とか魔術になることも昨日初めて知った。
何となく私と旦那の終わりに私が感じた気持ちとシンクロする曲でもあったりします。
